Consolidation[edit]

This is a multi-use consolidation of the individual icon templates for events. I figured it might be easier to use as well as being consistent with most of the other icon templates already in use. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 14:11, 8 September 2012 (UTC)

Missing "caravan" option?[edit]

Apparently there is a little Dolyak symbol? -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 18:18, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

Yep, I'll get the texture uploaded. Won't match to the tangos, but oh well. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 19:16, 1 March 2013 (UTC)
Well... crap, I can't find. There are R/G/B dolyaks in 32px size, but those are the map icons (color = WvW team color). I thought there was also a 64px event icon, but can't find any dolyaks there. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 19:36, 1 March 2013 (UTC)
Oh, I see now that we are using the gray 32px icons for WvW events. Carry on. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 19:42, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

Guild Mission Icons[edit]

From what I can see, guild missions are a type of event, so we should get the guild mission icons in here (whichever ones apply). Bounty may use the normal sword icon (need to doublecheck) but at least Rush and Challenge have unique ones. Vahkris 20:55, 29 April 2013 (UTC)

Red shield[edit]

The Triple Trouble escort events use a red shield not an orange one. --Claret (talk) 16:37, 23 January 2014 (UTC)

and Hold the line! --Claret (talk) 16:56, 23 January 2014 (UTC)

Thanks --Claret (talk) 19:50, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
These icons do not appear in {{area events}} and similar. Thanks. --Claret (talk) 15:38, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
The new values need to be added to the list at Property:Has event icon. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 15:48, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
Thanks, done. --Claret (talk) 15:57, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
Actually not done, I can't find where to add that property. --Claret (talk) 16:04, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
It gets queried in Template:Event to determine which icon to show. You may need to null-edit the event pages, then refresh/purge the pages that display it. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 16:21, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
Got it eventually, thanks. --Claret (talk) 00:50, 26 January 2014 (UTC)

Missing icons[edit]

Not sure if this is the best place, but the wiki is missing the icon for this special object, appearing in the following events: (Open the minimap images to see the icon)

Its file name should be File:Toxic Offshoot (map icon).png.--Lon-ami (talk) 14:41, 28 October 2017 (UTC)

Found it. Toxic Offshoot (map icon).png J.Tesla (talk) 14:49, 28 October 2017 (UTC)
Appreciated! I'll have to learn to check the dat one day, but I fear I would go crazy looking where I shouldn't :P.--Lon-ami (talk) 15:12, 28 October 2017 (UTC)
Another missing icon: Krait Obelisk Shard (map icon).png.--Lon-ami (talk) 23:02, 4 November 2017 (UTC)
I found two. The one I uploaded and another that is the same icon with the old skill point icon over it. Also, when I check the obelisk in my home instance it just uses the new hero point icon. J.Tesla (talk) 23:41, 4 November 2017 (UTC)
Yeah, I don't think the obelisk icon is used anywhere anymore, much like Energy Probe.png, but it's nice to have them for historical purposes.--Lon-ami (talk) 15:09, 5 November 2017 (UTC)
Another, File:Mordremoth Invasion (map icon).png for the Mordremoth's Minions Invade Tyria events.--Lon-ami (talk) 00:50, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
I can only find 3 icons for this event and none of them are the usual map icon size. They’re all the overhead-icon size but it’s not unheard of for large icons to be used on the map but scaled down.
Mordrem Researcher.pngMordrem Invasion Event.pngFile:1058326.png If it’s not one of these then you’ll have to describe it for me. J.Tesla (talk) 17:20, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
It's the one in the middle. Now I'm curious what could the 3rd one be for, if it was ever used. I'll check more videos to see if there's any luck!--Lon-ami (talk) 21:44, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
